“Well Hello there ! “
Beautiful purple dragon…
If you love all shades of violet, Foxglove is the dragon for you! Foxglove is a Percher Shoulder Dragon, and quite a Pretty girl.
Foxglove was created from a scaled and variegated shades of purple lycra velvet fabric for the body, with a violet faux suede fabric for her belly, under wings, inner ears, foot and hand pads.
For her back spine points, and spiral wrapped horns I used a light orchid stretch velvet.
She has a shades of violet feather boa for her mane, which brings out her beautiful purple eyes.
I used violet texture paint for her claws and face nubs.
This dragon’s body has a full length ball and socket armature spine and is approximately 44 inches long – measured from her nose ring, over the head, along her back, to the tail tip, and has a full length ball and socket armature.
The actual body is approximately 10 x 10 inches ( height x length ) with a very long tail. Foxgloves wing span can be adjusted up to 22 inches.
I finally was able to hatch a dragon from the silver fabric,
I had gotten awhile ago. So Shiny!

This shiny guy is made from a Silver Lycra Velvet fabric for his body, matched with a very soft grey Lycra Velvet for his belly, inner wings, inner ears, spine and foot pads.

This is Nexus, … With piercing Teal eyes she is a very unique and striking dragon.
I used a Teal with scales Lycra velvet fabric for her body, matching it with a black Lycra velvet for her inner ears, under wings, and belly. For her spiral wrapped horns and back spikes I used a steel blue lycra velvet.
Nexus has a mane of long black fox fur around her horns and wing base. I used a teal texture paint for her claws and face nubs, She has a leather lead, a bell and a nose ring.
This beautiful gal is approximately 55 inches from nose ring- measured over her head, along the back, to the tail tip, and has a full length ball and socket armature. Her body, depending on the pose is 12 x 12 inches- with a very long tail. The wings are fully wired and have a span of approximately – 30 inches. ” There once was a dragon called Limerick..
Who thought her name, quite horrific.
But she was so green and giraffe
Always bringing smiles and laughs
That in truth her name was terrific”
This is Limerick , a glittery, sparkly Ring-tailed Dragon, she has a special striped tail of glittery green giraffe and black fabrics, a little more work but the effect is well worth it.

Morrigan – Guardian Shoulder Dragon
This note certainly brought a smile to my face!
“Morrigan has arrived safely in Scotland and is now resting after her long flight. She will make her debut on the shoulder of Cap’n Darcy Knockboots at next week’s annual Piratesmas celebrations. Cap’n Darcy has longed for a small dragon to sit on her shoulder as she oversees the pirate shenanigans and believes Morrigan will be the perfect companion on her grogventures (adventures with grog!) I will send photos after the event. Ahoy and YoHo! Jenny”
Thank you Jenny, Sounds like Morrigan will be well loved, and will be having an amazing time on her Pirate’s shoulder….Parrots are so over rated, LOL. Now I need to make some Grog to quench my thirsts…luckily it is the weekend. You know Grog would make a great name for a dragon!
Beautiful green eyes!
Such colorful wings
This is Morrigan, – named for the goddess of battle, strife, and sovereignty. I used a tie dyed blue/green/purple Lycra velvet fabric for her, she turned out so beautiful. I choose a dark midnight green Lycra velvet for her under wings and spiral wrapped horns. I used a dark purple velour fabric for her inner ears, belly and back spine points. Morrigan has a teal green fox fur mane and bright green eyes. I used a teal texture paint for her face nubs and claws.
Who needs a knight in shining armor? When you have a shiny dragon!
Just finished and shipped off this special Nipper, he is the first I’ve hatched out of silver fabric. I will be making more – he turned out so beautiful!
Here is what his new owner emailed me, “Wow! Omg! Shimmer is exactly who we were hoping for!!! Thank you so much!!!”
Shimmer will be well loved!
Here is a short update,
I’m finally feeling better, I’ve had either the worst cold ever or Hay fever for the past month. Which has put me so far behind schedule, but looking forward…I have started some silver dragons (one Nipper is for a special request) that should be finished by the weekend! Plus I have cut out 4 black Reiver Dragons, ready to be hatched.
Great News! We will be going to Dragon con this year – It should be an amazing time! (not vending), But I will be speaking on a panel with Nefaerieous Deeds on the art of Sculpting.
I’ve been organizing my sewing room, and have decided that due to my possible “fabric addiction” I have accumulated more fabrics, and supplies than I will ever be able to use. I will start listing (in my Dragontry Etsy Shop) some of my mountains of fabrics, sewing patterns and supplies soon. Limited amounts so if you see something you’d like grab it before it’s gone.
